Donor Privacy Policy
Jewish Family Services of Greater Charleston (JFS) is committed to ensuring the protection of our donors’ privacy. Names, addresses, and any other personal data will only be used by JFS to keep you informed of programs, events, funding opportunities, and other related business.
Electronic Personal Records Donor information is stored in a secured database, and only authorized personnel have access to this information and only for appropriate business purposes.
Mailing Lists JFS does not rent, sell, give away, or trade its donor lists or any information contained on those lists. Donor information is used by JFS for charitable purposes only and will not be used by any other entity.
Updating Your Information At any point in time, you can change your information and your preferences. Should you desire to be removed from any form of contact or a particular form of contact, please contact miriam@charlestonjfs.org.
Security JFS uses appropriate procedures to ensure the security of your personal information and to protect it from unauthorized access. If you enter credit card information through our online giving portal, we use the top industry standard security protection, including encryption, SSL transmission connection, and a secure server for information storage. Once your credit card has been processed, your credit card information is not stored on our servers.
